Our History

“What really happens to imperfect carrots?”

Where can we find food that does not meet aesthetic standards or has a small flaw? Is there an alternative market for "imperfect" products in the food industry?

It is with these questions in mind that we set out, contacting producers and retailers to discuss and define how we could support our partners in the food industry.

With this the ideas began to sprout. We decided to open a grocery store with products that are fit for consumption but would otherwise be thrown away. We create additional sales channels for wonky vegetables, surplus stock, and products that simply haven't been sold. Too big, too small, too weird - no problem!
